How to make Perfect Chinese-Style Steamed Egg

  1. Amount of egg to water is 1:1.75.
  2. For 1 egg, add 1tbsp light soy sauce, sprinkle of salt, small amount of sesame oil to taste
  3. Filter.
  4. Place in fridge to cool it.
  5. Add lid over the bowl.
  6. Steam for 9 min.

Note: to convert to chawanmushi, add sake, shitake mushroom slices, or prawn slices.
